Marcela Tarazona’s journey began with a personal health challenge. Struggling with PCOS and an Omega-3 deficiency, she set out to find the purest, most natural source of nutrition on Earth, the Peruvian Anchoveta. What she discovered shocked her: this nutrient-packed superfood rarely made it from the sea to the table.
Determined to change that, Marcela interviewed over 100 fishermen and cooperatives and uncovered what she calls the “Logistics of Decay”, the reason this treasure of the ocean was wasted before it could nourish people.
But Marcela didn’t stop at identifying the problem. With her Bachelor’s in Business Management, international education, and global professional experience, she built a solution. She combined her deep understanding of marketing, consumer behavior, and insights with consulting experience for sustainable and impact-driven companies across multiple industries, including fisheries and food. By uniting experts in cooling technology, food science, and logistics, she is turning wasted resources into the food of the future.
Marcela’s mission is simple but bold: “We don’t need to find new food; we need to stop wasting the gold we already have.”
Scaling a regenerative food model that turns local marine wealth into a global biological upgrade.
By bio-fortifying the local diet with high-absorption Heme-Iron, we eliminate the structural malnutrition hidden in plain sight.
We transform "industrial fishmeal" back into high-performance protein. Maximum nutrition with zero added pressure on the ocean.
High-value, low-extraction fishing. By increasing the value per fish, we protect biodiversity while empowering coastal economies.
